Crescent is a University Church. It is situated at the heart of the student scene which has grown up around Queen’s University Belfast.

Christian students are often faced with scientific and philosophical challenges to their faith. It is essential that they are equipped to deal with the sorts of difficult questions generated by an environment which has little sympathy for Christianity. The Crescent Bible teaching team places a particular emphasis on apologetics, helping us “give a reason for the living hope within us”. We have a student support team available throughout the week to help and equip students.

The Church operates a ministry in conjunction with QUB Christian Union. It is designed to cater to the needs of International students. We also run a hospitality scheme on Sundays, allowing students from Asia, Africa, Europe or South America to sample a taste of Irish hospitality.
