Studies In Mark's Gospel
The first half of Mark’s gospel begins with the Lord Jesus, and a burst of healings. These are pictures of various aspects of the deeper problem of sin, and how Christ overcomes these. Christ’s ministry then moves on to how the Lord produces faith, though the word of God, and some practical factors which hinder faith. Finally, the Lord moves on to feeding the soul through His teaching. Counterfeit teachings are plentiful, however, and Christ exposes these. These are all key practical issues today in becoming a Christian and growing as a Christian.
