To the Ends of the Earth
The book of Acts is a description of the Gospel, from Jerusalem to the “uttermost part of the earth”, from primarily Jewish listeners to the Gentiles as well. As the Gospel went out from Jerusalem, the Jews rejected the good news, and persecuted those who rejected the Gospel. This series will focus on the expansion of the Gospel as a result of Paul’s journeys, in particular into the key cities, which are the eventual reasons for Paul writing the Epistles. Without the book of Acts we would turn in the New Testament from the Gospel of John to Romans, and ask, “How did the Gospel ever get from the Jews in Jerusalem to the Gentiles in Rome?”
DetailsPut your Hope in God - The Psalms of the Sons of Korah
The Psalms were written by various authors. In this series we look at the first block of Psalms that were written by the “Sons of Korah” (Psalms 42 & 43 - 49). In Bible times genealogies and family history were important so we start the series by looking at Psalmist’s ancestor Korah.
